What is Satellite 2?
Following in the footsteps of Satellite 1, Satellite 2 is a 2-day science fiction convention featuring the usual mixture of talks, games, panel discussions, and quizzes typical of a Glasgow Convention. There will be a real ale bar, a dealers' room, with SF bookshop At the Sign of the Dragon, and a small art show.
July 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, and so some of programme will have a lunar theme, ranging from discussions of how the moon is portrayed in SF, to the chance to fake your very own moon landing!
